Hackathon
SUSTAINABLE AND INCLUSIVE FUTURE
Satwa is a 36-hour National Level Hackathon hosted by Saintgits College of Engineering. This annual event aims to tackle relevant societal and environmental problems by empowering young minds of the nation and helping them take the next step towards innovative and creative solutions. Our aim is to improve the quality of life by addressing current issues and fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.
Satwa 2025 focuses on addressing Innovations for a Sustainable and Inclusive future. As the challenges of sustainability and inclusivity intensify, innovative solutions are essential to ensure a thriving future for both people and the planet. This theme invites ideas that balance environmental protection with social equity, fostering a sustainable and inclusive world for all.

3 qualifying rounds
IDEA SUBMISSION
ROUND 1
Participating teams are required to select one domain from the provided problem areas and identify a problem statement that adheres to the selected problem area. Develop an innovative and efficient solution and submit a presentation based on the provided template.
INTERVIEW ROUND
ROUND 2
The shortlisted teams from Round 1 will undergo an interview round with an expert judging panel. During this round, the authenticity and scope of the ideas will be evaluated, along with the quality and effectiveness of the solutions presented. Top 10 teams will be selected to advance to the next round

HACKATHON
ROUND 3
Round 3 of the Satwa 2025 hackathon, will be conducted in offline mode at Saintgits College of Engineering campus. All the selected teams have to be present at the campus. The problem statement, which can be any one of the problem areas provided, will be provided at the venue and have 36 hours to develop innovative solutions. The judging criteria for this round includes the quality of the idea, code quality, societal impact, ease of use, performance metrics, and originality.
